Type 2 (Proximal Renal Tubular Acidosis)

Ñ    Failure of HCO3- reabsorption in the proximal tubule

Type 3

Ñ    Combination of 1 & 2 (rare)

Type 4

Ñ    Hyporeninaemic hypoaldosteronism
